6.  Hairdresser-We are still searching for the right person to fill this position.

Part-Time 5 days per week

Available Immediately

Job responsibilities:

  • Perform hair care services to the elderly in accordance with Salem Home Inc.'s Philosophy, Mission and Vision

  • Deliver consistent and acceptable hair care services

  • Plan and organize effective time management

  • Provide hair care supplies

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • A current and valid hairdressing license

  • Ability to work as part of a team at Salem Home Inc.

  • Ability to communicate with the residents of Salem Home Inc.

  • Experience working with behaviourally disruptive individuals preferred

  • Ability to remain calm when dealing with residents with cognitive impairment

  • Demonstrated time management skills

  • Ability to foster good public relations

  • Honesty and loyalty to residents who request services
